Framer Template for Product UX Designer

Fun Fact: this picture was taken during my Korea winter school program in 2025, with the iconic Yonsei University building! I love the cold ❄️

I'm Yee Teng, a final-year SMU Information Systems student who turns messy data into dashboards that drive decisions and occasionally moonlights as a designer, project manager, and anything else a team needs. 😆

My Story

From polytechnic to university, I've always gravitated toward the tech space, building websites, understanding data pipelines, learning the design-thinking process, managing teams, and everything in between.

You might wonder why my internships includes such different roles (Risk Analyst, Business Analyst, PMO, etc.). Honestly? I wasn't sure what I wanted my career to look like, so I went on an exploration journey. Each internship gave me space to pick up new skills across different industries and disciplines, which kind of makes me feel like a jack of all trades (in the best way).

The good news: I now know what I love doing.

My Skills

I have gained soooo many skills from school and work, here's a snapshot!

  • Certifications: Google Data Analytics Specialization (Credential ID: Q666JZ9A9JD5), Google UX Design Specialization (Credential ID: XWD32VTU5XLP)

  • Technical: SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Excel VBA, TypeScript, PHP, Java

  • Applications: Tableau, Power BI, Fabric, Excel, Adobe XD, Figma, Canva, Jira, Confluence, WordPress, VSC

What I'm looking for! 👀

I'm currently exploring data analytics and project/program management roles and will be graduating from SMU in December 2026!

Several internships made it clear that working with data, designs, analytics, and team coordination is where I genuinely thrive, so I'm looking for opportunities that let me keep growing across those areas.

How I Work

Three things that shape how I approach every project/task:

  1. I ask questions early. I'd rather ask a 'stupid' question upfront than deliver wrong work later.

  2. I welcome feedback often. It's the fastest way to learn and improve.

  3. I value diverse perspectives. More pairs of eyes almost always lead to better decisions. Having more opinions don't hurt!

Thank you for taking time to read, I'd love to chat!

P.S. If you're curious about my life outside work: I crochet, I love to travel, and Japan is my favourite country. One day I'm going to see the sakura trees in full bloom. 🌸
