By eliminating the need for physical pop-ups, Artisan Avenue provides a seamless shopping experience for both artisans and customers, including those with disabilities or time constraints, while promoting a thriving artisan community.

Imagine this: you are interested in local crafts but don’t know where to begin. Even when you come across some artisans’ websites or social media, their style might not resonate with you.
The solution? A local artisan marketplace website with all the local artisans’ glimpses of products and socials. Artisan Avenue goal is to make it easier for you, as a buyer, to discover unique local products. By bringing together a wide selection of artisans in one place, you can conveniently browse, compare and connect with artisans. However, not only will buyers benefit, so does artisans themselves!

Unlike scattered platforms like Instagram, it makes it easy to browse, compare, and shop for handcrafted products from multiple artists in one place, promoting cultural shopping and informed purchasing decisions.

Navigation Map
A clear site navigation map is essential at the start to clearly path out the content required on each page to guide users through the platform, making it easy to browse artisan listings, compare products, access community reviews, and discover new artisans without confusion. It ensures a smooth user experience by reducing friction and helping users find what they need quickly.
Wireframe & Prototype on Figma
With the navigation structure in place, wireframes were created to visualise the layout and content placement on each page. This allowed for early testing of user journeys and interface logic. The wireframes were then developed into an interactive prototype to simulate user interactions, validate design decisions, and gather feedback before moving into full development.

The profile page offers a personalised space for users to manage their interactions on Artisan Avenue. Users can view and organise their saved artisans, products, and events, making it easy to revisit favourites. The page also allows them to edit personal information, creating a customised and consistent experience across the platform.

The About Us page tells the story behind Artisan Avenue. This includes information like how it was founded, who built it, and the purpose driving its creation.
